Chelsea Olender1/28/2024 Honors Research Assistant 2022- During my time at Oklahoma State University, I have devoted my time to researching individuals in the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community. I have led both the thematic analysis and annotation team. While working on this project, I have learned so much about the importance of Deaf culture and what it means to be a Deaf individual. The DXDX project has exposed me to inspiring stories about those who have hearing loss. These are stories that I will take with me as I continue my education at Texas Christian University and into my future career as a professional SLP. I feel so grateful to have been part of this project while receiving my undergraduate degree at OSU and have made countless memories that I will cherish forever.
