Lenna is a Psychology major who worked on the Deaf Experience, Deaf Expression (DXDX) project. She joined the thematic analysis team in Spring of 2024 as part of a honors course.

• "I was originally interested in this research as I had just enrolled in an ASL course and wanted to deepen my understanding of Deaf individuals. Throughout the process of this research project I have learned about Deaf culture, struggles people have encountered, and heard many life stories. This project has taught me a great deal about Deaf culture, as well as key aspects of research including thematic analysis and qualitative inquiry."
